Our friends the Tanners

Yee haw! We went to a dude ranch for spring break with our good friends the Tanners. It was a good time to be had by all. By the time we left I wasn't as fearful of the horses and the last one I rode learned I wasn't such a green horn after all. He was messing with the horse in front of him and the horse finally kicked him. I saw the hand writing on the wall earlier, as the horse in front of us kept looking back and giving my horse dirty looks. So when THE EVENT happened, I was ready for it and held on for dear life when my horse reared back. Ride'em cowboys!
Maddie talked the entire first ride to someone she has just met, oh what a shy one she is my girl, she was talking and wasn't watching, her horse took her too close to a tree and scraped up her arm and knocked her hat and sunglasses off. It didn't faze her a bit. Roy and I were ahead of her. I was too busy trying not to be scared of my horse and couldn't look back for fear I would fall off, but I could hear her. Roy seemed very at home on a horse, either he has riden before or is a natural cowboy. We also danced to country tunes at the pavillon the first night. I haven't danced in a coons age and had a great time.
